“If you want to test your memory, try to recall what you were worrying about one year ago today.” E. Joseph Cossman
Came across my 'morning pages' from a few years back. Not a lot has changed - I'm definitely worrying about the same things today as I was then. But so much negativity! It was pretty depressing reading. I certainly believe I am much more positive about my life now. Sure, I have the same doubts and worries but I feel I am moving forward and not just bemoaning how awful my life is. Now when I start to worry about any given situation or have doubts about my abilities, I ask myself if it will still be a problem in a year's time. I find that with most problems I know I'll have forgotten about them by then so why should I waste the energy worrying about them now.
