At our meditation session on Friday, Helen told me about the j-a-m (just a minute) event being launched on Sunday 17 September. This a live event being held in London's Wembley Arena with millions linking in from around the globe.
The Wembley Arena event can be viewed live via this page click here
The Just-a-minute site promotes this event as
"A celebration of movement and stillness, sound and silence, starring Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees; comedienne Ruby Wax; actor and producer Clarke Peters (currently starring in the HBO hit series The Wire), Lynne Franks, author and PR guru; Lucinda Drayton and Andy Blissett of Bliss; comedienne and singer Lenette van Dongen, Muslim female band Ulfah Collective; Michael Timothy formerly with Massive Attack; percussionists David Jones and Adesose Wallace; the Zamar Gospel Choir; TV Presenter Tania Bryer and two remarkable women yogis who lead the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University."
I will definitely be watching as this sounds like an amazing event. It certainly deserves more publicity. Helen is very excited as she believes the power created will be incredible. Wouldn't it be something if we could manage to spread a wave of peace around the world?
The event organisers say they hope to demonstrate how much positive change can be effected in literally just a minute through the power of a silent and peaceful mind.
I'm with them on this 100%.

wow, its so great to see all the different movements for peace popping up all over the place.
The theme seems to be Ghandi's quote "Be the change you wish to see."
The more grassroots the effort the more efective I believe they will be.
