Just had an incredible meditative session with Helen and Bill. We were using the one minute guided meditations from the Just-a-Minute website.
There are twenty one meditations in all and each lasts one minute. The meditation called 'Being Myself' I found incredibly moving and the whole experience was really powerful. Now looking forward to doing the global one minute of silence on Sunday.
Helen tells me that the idea behind Just-a-minute is to get everyone doing a one minute meditation every hour on the hour. My first thought was that this was maybe asking a lot. However, as Helen so rightly pointed out, it's only one minute. Just one little minute out of each hour to focus our minds.
